What is the temperature range of the “warm” setting a on gas water heater?
libber asked:
we’ve lost the manual for the water heater and we can not find a reference on the web ANYWHERE of what the exact temperture is when you set the water heater on “warm”. we’ve called Home Depot and they refer us back to the manual!

Warm is considered 95-115 degrees, hot is 115 on up but I do not recommend anything above 120.

All electric water heaters come factory preset to 110 deg. The warm, or the white notch on the thermostat, is also 110 deg. You shouldn’t set it higher unless you have dishwasher (120 deg) or in restaurant situations (120 deg +).
