Water Heater Relief Valve Dripping

What is wrong with my water heater?
Water flows from the relief valve on my water heater and there is a puddle of water about 2 feet x 2 ft. below. What should I do?
You need a new tps (overpressure valve) Do not open it because 80 percent of the time you do ruin the seal and he will flee more, get the valve It was only ten dollars and you can change yourself, change things before you more probs, good luck
