You want to heat my pool. Think this will work?
I want to heat my pool. At this stage, a pool heater is obviously the best way do, but a good heat pump system "to get back 3-4k and I can not do now. I thought of an idea – let me know what you think. What if I took my smoking – http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=12429510 and removed the gates so it was empty inside. Then took copper pipes and wind and reduce the height of the smoker (as coils). You know, elbows and use top and bottom and just made one big reel for water through travel. Then connected my little water pump to pump water out of the pool, in the coil system by the vent at the top, through the coils and back to the other side of the vent at the top – in the pool. the smoker will reach a temperature of about 500 degrees. Does it heat the water enough to change the temperature of the pool? I live in Phoenix, so I would not need to heat water too, maybe 10-15 degrees. Think this will work?
its the same principle should operate well my advise is to buy copper pipe rolled save you time sweating all those elbows just roll tightly around a broomstick and make tight coils long it will be the most effective
