How do I reset a switch-off combustion was triggered on a POWERVENT Rheem water heater?

The shutdown system was triggered by compustion solvents and stains in the house during the finish of our hardwood floors. Now I just get 2 and 3 flashes, indicating the lock status and flammable vapor sensor failure. All ideas will be appreciated.

Try cycling the power. Either to stop near the appliance or circuit breaker. Turn off for about one minute. It's sort of the key Ctrl-alt-del "of gas appliances electronically controlled. G'luck.
