Can I wrap the hot water pipes coming out of isolation?
My water heater is located in the basement and it takes forever for hot water to get to the kitchen. The hose runs along top of block wall basement. I saw where we must isolate the pipes coming from 5 feet, but I; wonder if it is acceptable to wrap the whole pipe.
Yes, you can wrap the pipe start to finish. with ordinary pipe insulation. You can buy in any hardware store and it is very east to apply.
