Electric Water Heaters Repairs

I had to reset my hot water heater several times last week. Is it easy to repair or new tank?
I 40 gallons a Bradford White electric water heater that was installed in the mid 90s by a precedent. owner. The circuit breaker is Fine. How do I know if I need a new element / s or a new water heater? Heating is a small crawl space in my house Row. Is this a less tank better in this area?
When you say you had reset the water heater, I guess you mean by pushing the red button in the center of the higher temperature. This is usually an indication that the new thermostat is needed but as long as you're around, you can check the items too. You do this by removing one of the drivers son of one of two connections screw head on each item, with juice cut course and test for resistance with an ohmmeter between the two screws on each item. The reading should be 12.3 to 12.7 ohms each. Any top or bottom of this range must be replaced, and the temperature higher.
