My hot water outlet valve pressure leak continues, what is wrong?
for the past month, what I think is hot water tank Release pressure valve has been my constant water leaks, causing my gas bill to go up, as hot water is virtually used all day. I do not think it's about pressure, that I turned down the temperature of the heater and continued leakage after some time. I know that calling a plumber would be the best option, but I think this is perhaps a defective valve, and I wanted to get expertise on the issue. Thank you!
Your description of the problem is not necessarily symptomatic of temperature and pressure valve (T & P) but the expansion tank that may have been installed on the cold water inlet of the heater. If this is not the problem of replacing T & P valve will solve it. Be sure to replace it with the same valve noted that listed on the manufacturer's label. us@Homelinepros.com Link.
